Judges and other tower personnel (totaling over 20 people) were on standby from 8am to 2pm...the contest that never happened! Anyway! we get another crack at it tomorrow!

Doc working on JJF before he went on to score a comp record of 19.80 total heat score. a perfect 10 and a 9.8 will do that!
First heat of the day saw Jeremy Flores taking out the two young guns Kolohe and Nat (who both would go on to win their round two heats.

Boat will leave from Port Denarau at 9am - 3–4pm return … Meeting place Cardos. Alcohol people can bring their own … Same set up as last year with surf boat tied up the Cat to take surfers out surfing for 3-4 hours. Or surfers can come on the surfboat in the morning and hop on the cat after the surf to be with family or watch the comp. CLICK HERE to see all the shots from today
