LOTS of waves!!!! we were suppose to see humangous surf this week but the swell was since downgraded to plain ol' large. Cloudbreak is messy and windblown and restaurants, as featured here was doing its thing...you have to wait a while for waves at restaurants, the swell really has to come wrapping around the reef at Tavarua, But you can ask local boy Teh Chung if this one was worth the wait! Two slide shows below, one from the boat, one from the water. These are shots of locals and friends. If you were out and would like to see your photos check out Daily Surf Photos.
More waves on the horizon...come surf with us...

Though the latest monster swell that hit Cloudbreak will stand out in everyone's mind we cannot forget the monsters that came in the 9th month of 2011. No, It wasnt as clean or as big as this past June 2011, however, It was historic in its own right. With news of the giant swell, Tavarua Island quickly filled its vacancies with frothing big wave enthusiasts. Those who couldn't get a coveted spot on the heart shaped island were able to find affordable accommodation at either Malolo island (plantation) or on the main island of Viti levu. At Fijisurfco.com we are happy that so many were able to partake in the inexpressible beauty of the surf in the Mamanucas'. If you have any questions about how to get the most out of your surf trip in Fiji contact us anytime.
